While we install sysctl files, we do not apply them at install time.

It would be useful to add a postinst script which:

  • alerted the sysadmin that we had done this
  • offered to apply the file now ( sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.d/20-qcp.conf )

Perhaps even offer to not install the sysctl files.
