I'm using 1.8.1 on a RP4.
Trying to change the wifi with raspi-conf returns "There was an error running option S1 Wireless LAN".
I've tried editing /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf and running wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

welcome to Raspberry Pi OS bookworm.... wpa_supplicant.conf is useless now, need to use /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/
I can't explain raspi-config errors however. I would stay away from the shell and use the DigiPi Wifi link.
