I have a package that was called openpsa/createphp and is now called midgard/createphp. Packagist never picked up the name change (and in an unrelated issue, it doesn't auto-update, even though github tells me that the service hook is working). So I resubmitted the package, which lead to a second entry with the new package name, but the old one is still there as a zombie, which is highly confusing to users.
This ticket is about packagist's inability to detect name changes, I'll open separate tickets for the other issues mentioned
