Diff viewer for translations incorrectly handles escape sequences in diffed code

In kumite/translations Diff view, when a difference (green/red highlighting) affects a line with a new line escape sequence \n, the sequence is interpreted as a new line and the diff is presented in a confusing way.

The problem does not seem to occur with the parts of a code which were not changed.
