Presenting test cases is up to authors: they should do this, but often they don't 🤷, especially in the older kata created back in times when authors were not bothered by user experience. If you find a kata which has a language version which does not present inputs on failure, you can raise a suggestion or an issue in the kata discourse.

However, even if tests do not present inputs, users can help themselves and try to print them to console for debugging: see the Troubleshooting guide and degugging a kata paragraph.
