When using Rational Developer for i to develop and run IBM i applications offline, it may be desirable to use Visual Studio Code as a code editor for these projects. However, when opening these projects in Visual Studio Code, the date information is displayed at the beginning of the source files, which may be unwanted.
As a programmer, I want to know if there is a way to hide or remove these dates from being displayed in Visual Studio Code. Is there any configuration setting or extension available to achieve this?
I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this issue so I can use Visual Studio Code effectively with my Rational Developer for i projects.
