i use stylus on firefox for hiding avatars. with this simple css

Exactly, (most simple css features are part of our youtube minimap 'appearance'. They are also popular and thus motivating to curate: Calling it 'hide Avatars' for now. Might still change before it is translated.
However,) we should present our Video features more prominently.

... - And develope smart rules / querys for content by meta data (not depending on crowdsoucing),
