Our binary releases fail on older CPUs with the cryptic message SIGILL: illegal instruction. Until we can make this better (cockroachdb/cockroach#15589), we should document this somewhere (FAQ? minimum hardware requirements?). We can point out that building from source is a workaround, although systems this old are often running older distributions that have a hard time getting the necessary compiler versions.

This should be obsolete: since cockroachdb/cockroach#15589 was fixed we should be able to run even on very old CPUs.
