One can produce the GoodnessOfFit result split in categories already, but it involves many iterations of manual channel masking. This process can be definitely automated. The idea would be to have a workflow(script) that automatically creates submission files from a datacard/workspace given as an input, collects the output into json files, and finally creates the plots.
