This Library must provide support for the HTTP 1.1 protocol without using RequestInterface, which makes implementation more difficult.

@marcusgregory Thanks for reporting, I agree that it should be safe to (finally) make this the default. Does anybody feel like filing a PR to add a new "option" with the default being "1.1"?
