You can choose a topic by commenting the number you’ll like to work on and create an issue or create an issue with a fresh topic idea as long as it fall under a section in our roadmap.md. When you’re done, please notify someone from the M&E team to check this out by mentioning (@clentafrica/wg-monitoring-and-evaluation). It’s best when research is done by a team so feel free to work on this with friends

  • Analyze how people with disabilities are disproportionately affected by climate events like floods, droughts, and extreme heat.

• 2. Inclusive Design of Renewable Energy Solutions for People with Disabilities

  • Investigate how renewable energy solutions can be made more accessible and useful for people with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.

• 3. Barriers to Climate Resilience for Disabled Individuals

  • Study the specific barriers people with disabilities face in accessing climate adaptation resources, including shelter and energy during extreme weather events.

• 4. Developing Climate Resilient Housing for Disabled Populations

  • Research the role of accessible housing designs in protecting disabled individuals from climate impacts like flooding and heat waves.

• 5. The Digital Divide: Disability, Climate Tech, and Access to Information

  • Examine how people with disabilities are affected by the digital divide in accessing climate-related information and how climate tech can bridge this gap.
