Unfortunately not. If the effort is non-trivial then this is surely something I can consider adding in the near future. I need to look into it.

Any update on this feature? If not, I'd be willing to look into adding it via JS. I'm still a beginner though so my code might not be optimized/standard.

Is this something you can reconsider @clarketm? I don't like the above solution for maphilight because this is not responsive.
