📃 Iteration 41 roadmap

This post outlines our targets for the upcoming iteration. The goal is to provide a summary of where we are going.

New features / enhancements

• Inline images - support multiple images in a single block - this was already started and we hope to release it in iteration 42
• Drag and drop of textual content and widgets - merged 🎉
• Support for setting alignment with classes (Add support for classes in the alignment plugin #8516) - merged 🎉
• Support for setting text part language - merged 🎉
• Typing [x] will insert a checked list item - merged 🎉
• Adding captions to tables - this was already started and will likely be released in iteration 42
• Introduce bubbling of view.Document events - merged 🎉

Bug fixes

• “Remove highlight” button is not following the highlight command disabled state - merged 🎉

Finally, there are some more bug fixes and minor improvements planned for the 41st iteration. See the list of issues assigned to the current iteration for more details.

Dates

The code freeze is planned for March 17, 2021, followed by releasing npm packages on March 24, 2021.

Please keep in mind that these plans are subject to change and even though we put all our energy to deliver all the items mentioned above, the iteration plan may change at any point.
