[Edge][IME] Characters duplicate after selecting the word

Steps to reproduce

1. Create new empty line.
2. Change the keyboard language to Hiragana.
3. Type 'test'.
4. Click on some block element to dismiss the suggestion balloon.
5. Select the word from step 3.

Current result

Word hasn't become selected and last two characters have been duplicated.

In step 5. instead of selecting a word you may just type something in the current caret position (e.g. press a) and then てｓｔ string will be inserted before typed character.

This a native Edge issue. When clicking somewhere else during composition, the composition is not ended. Reproduced on plain contenteditable:

Small update on this one - I've just checked the status of this issue and they've changed it to won't fix.

Since introduction of the new Edge based on chromium, this issue doesn't occur anymore. I'm closing this.
