Overview

Need to update FAQ responses based on Bonnie's feedback.

Extra info from Bonnie

  • Also add one more item to the FAQ
    Q: What is Radical Collaboration?
A: We must connect with people from different backgrounds, skills, abilities and thinking modalities to learn and share approaches to societal challenges in order to fulfil the potential of open source. By making visible the connections between our projects, we can all collaborate and build more efficiently, effectively and more humanely. Increasing access through transparency of information, tools and open invitations to participate is what defines Radical Collaboration.

@kevindphan this issue should be resolved if you enter all FAQ data requested in submission form. I created #1083 to track this UI bug for the backend team

FAQ Question and Answers

What if I can't find my project's repository link on GitHub?

  • Current Question What if I can't find my project's repository link on GitHub?
  • Current Answer: Occasionally, some projects are not listed. Please type the URL manually and submit the project repository link.
  • Notes: This question doesn't make sense because all github repos are visible unless they are marked as private in which case you get a 404 (see screen shot below) but the person putting in their repo knows where their repo is and it definitely has url whether public or private.
  • Solution: Rewrite question and answer
    • New question text: What if I don't know the URL of my project's repository
    • New answer text: This is a required element to use this tool. You can try searching for it by going to your organizations github account, which might be listed on their website.
