I think depending on sizes, say 15-25 people, we should come up with groups to work in some way.
I got a straightforward list
Ask, don’t patronize nor foresee any expectations of what people want to built
Eg, some developers won’t necessarily be interested in Catalonian independence.
One mentor per group depending on size of crowd, or two.
Technology can convince people; better to have conversations about them than to jump right next to prototype.
We can have more conversations during tapas. Informality is expected in a Hackathon. Things get produced anywhere.
It’s important to distribute leadership and authority.
Eg. Don’t let everyone just go to Arthur for assistance, inspiration, or general talking.
For the Barcelona Hackathon there's gonna be some centrality to operations due to language, so I think Eric, Dayzee (?), and me can handle some of the translation issues.
What does everyone think?
