Add install workaround for (ubuntu, conda) installation #243

i'm using ubuntu 16.04 alongwith conda package management. Also note that i'm using python 3.6.
I had a trouble when I installed it via pip. it seems installing wxwidget, wxpython dependency fails.

To overcome this,
wxpython is install via conda by

conda install -c conda-forge wxpython

Then,
I need to remove/comment these line

# if sys.version[0] == '3':
#     deps.append('wxpython==4.0.0b1')

in setup.py

then,

python setup.py install

result in working GOOEY :))))

Awesome! Glad you were able to get it working.

Given the large number of environments, versions, and tool chains people are using with Gooey, I've started a Wiki to keep track of specific platform instructions (for use while I figure out how to get a single setup.py to reliably install WxPython on every os/version/packager/etc.. combination).

Would you mind adding your setup on the Troubleshooting WxPython Installation page under a heading describing your environment? Would be mucho appreciated!

One question would be why you had to remove that's line from setup.oy - what was the message you got? I suspect because the version specifier is too strict (should be >=), and 4.0.0b1 is not available on Monday?

Same issue on Ubuntu 18.04 with Python 3.6.5 in a virtual environment.

Fixed by installing a number of apt packages, as suggested in a thread on the wxWidget's Phoenix GitHub. Simply installing libgtk2.0 resolved one of the errors, but not the rest. I'm sure not all of the following packages are required, but I don't have the time or desire currently to narrow them down.

sudo apt install libwebkitgtk-dev libjpeg-dev libtiff-dev libgtk2.0-dev libsdl1.2-dev freeglut3 freeglut3-dev libnotify-dev libgstreamerd-3-dev

Also, I should note that the failure happens pretty quickly during the "./configure" step. If it gets to the point of waiting for half a decade to build, you're good 😄

Ubuntu 18.04, Python installed by the system: sudo apt install libgtk-3-dev seemed to be enough. Had to use pip (Python 2.7) not pip3 (Pyhton 3.6) because it wanted a pathlib2, which is a Python 2 package.

On Ubuntu 18.04, like @Uplink03 said, sudo apt install libgtk-3-dev was enough to allow pip installing wxPython... but it took 20 minutes.

To get wxPython, much faster for me was:
pip install -f https://extras.wxpython.org/wxPython4/extras/linux/gtk3/ubuntu-18.04 wxPython
