Project Report: The introduction to the problem, biological and bioinformatics background, such that any reader can understand the theoretical basics of the project. It describes the approaches chosen to solve the posed problem, discusses alternatives and gives reasons for the taken design decisions. Finally, it should show some results, application and critically discuss what was achieved.
Since this a software project, the report should make clear, how the problem(s) was/were tackled, which scientific and technical approaches were used, which design decisions were made and why (see also above at the final presentations).
Write the report as a scientific document using references to relevant literature or to statements and results that you refer to or used but have been published elsewhere. Furthermore, use references within the document, e.g., to figures, tables, results or text if discussed of referred to it elsewhere.
