In order to improve the compatibility between Modules and Lmod and simplify the task to write modulefiles that are compatible with both module implementations, it seems important to implement the try-load sub-command of Lmod on Modules (see TACC/Lmod#505).
try-load is a load that does not report an error if the module specified does not exist. Other errors are reported.
