Hi Caseda,

I have 4 TKB Home TZ78 modules. These are simular to the TZ74 modules, but single channel.
I have made a JSON file for this module based on one of your other drivers. But now i'm stuck!
How can I help You to add this to your wonderful piece of work?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Greetings, Albert

Thank you for your interest on improving the app.

The easiest way is to copy over an entire driver folder (/drivers/ID) and change all files accordingly, all changes will then get incorporated into the app.json during install in CLI.
Any manual changes in the app.json will get overwritten.

Hi,

I was wondering what the status is of the issue above.

I have an TZ78 module as well, it was working fine in version 1.5.13 of Homey, but after the update to 2.xx (now 2.04) it isn't working anymore.

In version 1.5.13 it was recognized as an TZ68 device. Not te wright on, but worked harmless.

I'm very new to Homey and Z-wave, but work in IT branche, so maybe i can help.

Does some one was able to connect the TZ78 as an standard Zwave device?
I'm not able to do this as well.

Nothing should have changed for homey v1 to v2, if it doesn't work then it is an homey issue not an app issue.

As for the "wrong" device, this is very common for the tkb home devices, zwave works with id numbers to identify if a device is unique, tkb isn't following the certification rules (beats me why they still are certified) by zwave for this so often reuses an id for several devices to save money probably.

Ok, that's strange.

Maybe it's s omething else? I've tested the TZ78 on a homey with version 1.5, then i took it home and want to connect it to my own homey on version 2.04

Since then i'm not able to connect it to my homey.
I tried to reset the TZ78 by the reset procedure like the manual told me.

Is there something else wrong?

thanks for your quick answer!
