Cards: Design exploration

Create a new design file and explore different options for the component. Showcase what design changes would result from making the component more composable.

• Showcase what the component looks like today. You might use the component or pattern from the Figma kit.
• For existing component areas that could swap components out, explore what other Carbon components might be swapped in. Do we need guidance for what could be slotted in?
  • For example, in the Static Options Tile, we use a toggle on the far right. Should we consider opening this section up to different components like a dropdown or something else? Is there a use case?
• Explore adding any new areas that could include other components as a slot.
  • For example, in the Coachmark, should we consider adding a dedicated section to slot other components into the floating container?
