Language selector could take on styling updates if we add color scheme options to footer in v2. Otherwise, it would need minimal changes.

v1 guidance updates:

  • We note that language selector is used in the footer, but we should clarify that the component can be used elsewhere to update the page language. Adopters may not be aware that they can use language selector outside of footer.

v2 media updates:

  • If color scheme or layout changes occur for footer in v2, we should update the four images on the page to reflect the changes.
  • If language selector lives on its own, and footer incorporate additional color schemes, we should consider adding the options so they are visible.

@IgnacioBecerra apologies, I meant to close this one, we are going to document the language selector in the Footer page because it isn't really used on it's own!
