The Figma kit page is an important gateway to the Dotcom Figma kit (both v1 and v2).

v1 updates:

• Update announcement notification to indicate that v1 Figma kit is no longer being maintained – instead focus is on v2 (link to v2 Figma kit page)
• Remove references to multiple theme libraries – in the future, there will be a single Dotcom Figma library.
• Remove GIF of searching libraries for now (out of date showing multiple Figma libraries).
• Replace GIF with screenshots (see Carbon design kit page)
• Update "new" Figma kit.
• Minor updates to language.

v2 updates:

• Update announcement notification to indicate that v2 Figma kit is being worked or is in Beta, (depending on timing)
• Update language to discuss v11 libraries that we use as dependencies.
• Link to v1 version to indicate v1 Figma design kit.
• Rename page to "Design kits"

Future enhancement:

• New GIF on accessing library.
• Consider information on Dev mode, added in Config 2023.
• Consider instructions for contributing a component through a branch.
