I was thinking about forking/maintaining this lib since it hasn't seen much action in the past few years, but I couldn't find the license it was released under. Is it MIT or something similar?

or would you possibly consider letting me help out as a collaborator? I'd be happy to help with the node lib as well.

Hi therebelrobot,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to hand over the reins on both sawkit-client and sawkit-node.

I also wrote a "Custom-Events" SharedWorker library for the NDN team at UCLA (Named-Data Networking) upon request from the Dean of Technology & Innovation.

The library is worker.io and it was written namely for sharing state across browser-tabs. I wouldn't completely hand over control on this lib but would take pull requests and thought it might interest you. I have been planning on integrating it into a more comprehensive Event-Driven library but just haven't had much time to work on it.

Cheers,

Cody

Hey Cody!

Let me know how you want to proceed with sawkit, if you want to keep them under your account or if you want to transfer them, I'm good either way. I would also need permissions to the npm releases for updating, my username is the same as here on github.

I'll definitely take a look at worker.io! Sounds like it's a pretty solid lib. https://github.com/cScarlson/worker.io is the link, right? I'll dig into that in the coming days and see what I can do to help.

Cheers,

Trent
