Hi, I have noticed this ips ranges: 72.14.201.X and 193.186.4.X are hitting my site more and more each day. I have been looking at the net until finding this project that is related with these hits. I have read about it and I think its a good idea but:

  • how my site has been included? It's something random? Im ok with this prefetching but...
  • too many hits from this ips that I think are overloading a little my server (overall, when caches are cleaned after a new or edited post). I can see more than 20 hits per minute at night!!!

So it's possible to minimize this hit to the minimum? I have read something about a file to be included that says to your prefetching to be more quiet hahahaha. Now I have your ips blocked to test if my server calm down when publishing.

Many thanks!

Ok I get it and my traffic-advice is working fine finally. Let see if the hits go down to 10% or I have just to continue blocking prefetching ips (I am going to deny until I see the amount of hits goes down at the level I want and then I will allow then...
