Description:

Follow-up to #8270

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Brave on iPad
  2. Open any website, for example https://razer.com
  3. Tap Report a Broken Site by doing that from any entry point (Settings menu, Share menu, Brave Shields menu)
  4. Skip or add some info to the Additional details (optional) and Contact me at: (optional) fields
  5. Tap Submit > Confirm that the message saying that the report sent is shown
  6. Go to https://stats.brave.com/dashboard#webcompat > Look results for https://razer.com > Observe that there are no results are shown

Actual result:

No results are shown on https://stats.brave.com/dashboard#webcompat when sending Report a Broken Site from iPad.

Expected result:

Results on https://stats.brave.com/dashboard#webcompat must be seen when reporting a website from iPad.

Brave build: 1.60 (23.11.7.17)
BraveCore: 1.60.113 (119.0.6045.105)

  • Can you reproduce this issue with the current build from AppStore? YES

Device details:

iPad Air / iPadOS 16.7.2

Website problems only:

  • did you check with Brave Shields down?
  • did you check in Safari/Firefox (WkWebView-based browsers)?
