Description:

Switching server region fails

NOTE: marked as regression but its possible this reproduces in earlier builds but more intermittent perhaps.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install 1.51.x
  2. Purchase VPN
  3. Install VPN profile
  4. Confirm VPN connection
  5. Change servers over WireGuard protocol (default)
  6. Switch to IKEv2, change servers

Actual result:

Expected result:

Should switch successfully

Intermittent

Brave Version: 1.51 (23.5.8.16)

  • Can you reproduce this issue with the most recent build from TestFlight? Yes
  • Can you reproduce this issue with the previous version of the current build from TestFlight? Yes
  • Can you reproduce this issue with the current build from AppStore? No

Device details:

iPhone X, iOS 16.3.1
