Spotify skipping songs

Description

Whenever I open spotify and hit a random playlist, it skips the first few songs automatically - EVEN if it's an ad (i mean wow but nah). I had this on my 7 yr old computer, and i just assumed it was the computer's problem. But I recently switched to a HP Pavilion (fancy new fast laptop), and it has the same problem. And chrome does not seem to have this problem...

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Spotify on the web: https://open.spotify.com
2. Play a playlist

Actual result:

Moozik gets skipped

Expected result:

no music gets skipped

• reproducible on different computers and redownloading hasn't seemed to help
