The parsing methods is currently US centric. Which is not not great for nearly all other cultures.

This has the following properties:

  • Parse 1.000,12 as well as 1,000.12.
  • Parse date entity names using the locale data available.
  • Prefer dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy in locales given something like 05/05/2022
