Update UI #558
Comments
Hi Siddharth, Thanks for this opening this issue. We'd definitely like to see a more responsive design to the site and would be very interested in any mockups you might be able to offer. Unfortunately we're still unsure if we will be participating in GSoC '15. If you are interested in contributing mockups regardless of our GSoC '15 participation we'll be more than happy to review them. Thanks again! |
Hi Craig, I've never contributed to any open-source project till now and I'm doing this to get a feel of how all of this works. I would be happy if Bookie participates in GSoC'15 so that I can get a chance to compete among others but I won't mind if it doesn't. Currently I've not started working on a mockup, I was waiting for someone's reply on this issue. If you can wait, I'll try to submit you mockups by next Wednesday. Thanks, |
Hi @craigmaloney , I'm sorry, I was busy with my exams and couldn't get time to work on the designs. I've designed landing page, there might be some errors, let me know if revision is required. Font: Lato Dropdown will come below 768px. |
hi i would love to work on this bug...please help me to get started... |
Those mockups sure look sweet Siddharth11, good job!! I would love to see Bookie looking like that. |
Design matters. Are there news in this concern? |
Not sure if any patches were submitted. Can't merge what we don't have. |
I'm a new Bookie user and this is what I saw on the signup page
I think we need to update UI (little more appealing and minimalist) and make it fully responsive (not breaking at any viewport). I know this may not sound like a high priority issue but I guess to have a wider user base we should also focus on the part which user sees first.
