Text Expand component replaces any 1 or more groupings of whitespace with a single space.

Expected behavior

If a user has formatted text to include line breaks in a long text field, those line breaks should be honored in the expanded read-only version of that field's display.

Actual behavior

Text Expand component replaces any 1 or more groupings of whitespace with a single space. This causes readability issues and is not user friendly for reading a long amount of text.

Steps to reproduce

Enter enough text into a long text field to trigger the Text Expand component. Make sure to include some line breaks in the content. Then navigate to the read-only view and expand the text using the component... The text will not be formatted as the user entered it.
