Need help with rooting

My device is Realme 7 RMX2155 MediaTek Helio G95 MT6785.

I am using Ubuntu with mtkclient. I managed to unlock the bootloader, and then attempted to root the device. This fails and I get a message about corrupt image when restarting the phone, something along the lines "The current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed and can not boot." I am able to go back to a clean installation without root, but at this point I would like to root the phone.

Hence, some questions:

1. Is mtk reset supposed to take a long time? Every time I do it, I get

DAXFlash - HW-VERSION : 0xCA00
DAXFlash - SW-VERSION : 0x0
DAXFlash - CHIP-EVOLUTION : 0x0

   Then it takes quite some time before the following is printed
   DeviceClass - [Errno 2] Entity not found
Reset command was sent. Disconnect usb cable to power off.
   Is this normal?

2. After patching the image with Magisk and copying it to the PC, is it really necessary to go through the instructions on unlocking bootloader if it was previously unlocked? Moreover: (a) If so, am I really supposed to relock the bootloader, as those instructions seem to indicate? (b) If this unlocking (and perhaps relocking) is indeed required, is it really necessary to make a reset/reboot now, before flashing magisk-patched boot and empty vbmeta and the final reset/reboot?

3. The instructions for installation of Magisk and patching images from Magisk itself seem far more involved than the steps for patching presented here. Are the 10 steps described here really sufficient?

maybe you can use higher magisk like 27.0 and fix your boot if your android is 13 you should repair init_boot

Thanks for replying. Yes, my Android is 13 but could you elaborate more by "repairing init_boot"? I can't find anything about init_boot on any forums, does it mean using TWRP? Tbh, I think I messed up the partition so I just want to make it like a fresh, brand new phone from the store lol. I planned to flash the entire firmwares that came from internet that I found into the phone but still considering it, loss of IMEI doesn't matter in my case.

at first you need know in Android13,only repair initboot can get root,you should get initboot at your mobile phone,and download magisk in your phone's system and repair initboot,find repaired initboot (sdcard/download/magisk_xxxxx.img)make sure your bootloader is unlock. then use this common(use your computer's win and r
