Bitwarden Beta

  • I'm using the new native Bitwarden Beta app and I'm aware that legacy .NET app bugs should be reported in bitwarden/mobile

Steps To Reproduce

In the Bitwarden iOS app 2024.9.2 (1106):

  1. Create several vault items that have the same Name but different Usernames
  2. Make sure that these vault items are in the same folder

Expected Result

The sort order of the vault items should be alphabetical based upon the Username. This is the current behavior in the Android app and on the Bitwarden website. It is also how the iOS app used to function before recent updates.

Actual Result

The items are not sorted alphabetically based upon Username. The actual sort order logic is not apparent.

Additional Context

No response

Build Version

iOS 2024.9.2 (1106)

Environment Details

iPhone 15 Pro running iOS Version 18.0 and iPad (6th generation) running iPadOS Version 17.7

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

This is the same exact data on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Android phone running 2024.7.1 (11086) showing that the secondary sort by Username is working properly.
