Steps To Reproduce

  1. Type in a search query to find a specific TOTP token. In the screenshot example, I typed in “N” and tokens that had an “N” in their name appeared as expected.

Expected Result

The search query would return the actual token that corresponded to the search terms. Not a placeholder number.

Actual Result

Rather than returning the time based 6 digit token in the search results, a place holder of ‘124 456’ appears for every search result.

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

Thanks for the update! Some feedback: that issue also appears to be closed. I realize Bitwarden is tracking these outside of GitHub, but by closing these issues, it's difficult to see if they have been reported or not. I wouldn't have posted a duplicate had I seen the other issue reported. Thanks!

@daniellbw when will this fix be released? What is the release cadence for Authenticator? It isn't quite clear since it's been 4 months since the last release.
