BitRefill - Proposed National Currency Payment MethodI am proposing that BitRefill be added as a national currency payment method. @refund-agent2, @huey735, @leo816 please let me know if you have any questions as to how BitRefill will be mediated / arbitrated. If you have any objection please let me know by 31 May 2021. Date proposal being made: 01.05.21 Name of payment method: BitRefill Required fields (eg) Currencies accepted
Signing required: No Bisq Limits: eg 0.25 BTC Trade window: 24 hours Payment method limits: eg $2000 USD or equivalent per payment Any relevant information for mediators / arbitrators: Payment will only be made in either BitRefill giftcard - USD Any relevant information for users: Beware of $2,000 USD or equivalent limit per transaction. Only really suitable for people able to spend USD or EUR. Screenshot of expected GUI: TBC |
This payment method is on hold for the moment. This is due to both the USD and EUR BitRefill gift cards being temporally discontinued: BitRefill giftcard - USD
Once the new Bitrefill gift cards are published I will revisit it. |

Background
Bitrefill aims to let people live on cryptocurrency more easily. They provide lots of gift cards, prepaid mobile refills, and Lightning networking services that can be purchased using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies worldwide.
A number of users have asked if BitRefill can be added as a payment method.
Recently @prayank23 made a comment about BitRefill being used by people in India to sell their crypto using BitRefill as an alternative to exchanges. I think this is an interesting use case for this payment method.
There might also be more ways that Bisq users would find BitRefill useful.

Additional information
If added I am not entirely sure how the gift card selected would be chosen. It might be a bit messy to have to agree it on every purchase. Maybe when creating the account you can specify what voucher you would like. There is also a BitRefill voucher which is interchangeable into any other BitRefill voucher but these are only available in EUR and USD.
It would be good to hear from anyone with any ideas on how this could be used.
