Vietnam VND/BTC Market Maker Bounty

To claim this bounty the contributor must make a market in Bisq VND/BTC for 1 month.
https://bisq.network/markets/?currency=btc_vnd

This will involve:

  1. Keeping at least 2 BUY and 2 SELL offers live during 1 month.

  2. Attracting other traders to the market through marketing, communication, social media...

  3. Completing at least 5 trades.

  4. Report with feedback here on the details of the trades (payment method used, problems encountered, suggestions for improvement, fees paid, time it took to complete the trade).

  5. Attend at least 1 live Bisq Growth call to answer questions and provide feedback on the experience.

Bounty: 1000 $BSQ

as discussed on keybase:

i think i would give it a go in cycle 11 but i would only claim the bounty if i can match the requirements at the end of the cycle.

regarding marketing efforts: in the beginning, i would prefer focussing on promoting bisq on IRL events, like bitcoin meetups and hands-on workshops. there is now a trend of digital nomads moving from thailand to vietnam, and i think this should be one of our target groups to get onboarded - and meetups are always great for that. i am running now a bitcoin meetup in da nang and will speak about bisq and organize a workshop as well.

right now i don't believe another social media campaign would do much impact in vietnam, because the vietnamese are known for spamming routinely all their social media channels shilling shitcoins and ICOs nonstop, so i would not go that route to promote bisq right now.
i may put out some regular tweets and retweet the more significant bisq news... but twitter storms? probably not :)

as a rough guide i would just follow the examples of CNY and JPY market-making efforts...

Excellent news @doitsu232 !

I absolutely recommend the meetup + workshop route. The personal touch makes a big difference.

My theory is that for Bisq it is much better to have 4-5 frequent and committed users at the begining, creating offers... and then build from there, than to have 100+ casual users who try it once and then give up.

our next bitcoin meetup in danang is tomorrow btw ;)
there is also a bigger conference coming up at the end of february in hanoi.

after all the obvious reasons to have a break for a while i'd like to get back to this activity soon.
some of the members of our bitcoin meetup group will attend an online meetup organized by @fabiok https://www.meetup.com/Bitcoin-Copenhagen/events/270277632
after that we will test Bisq in a trading workshop, i expect about 3 to 4 traders to join us.
more updates will follow soon.

I can allot budget for this bounty in Cycle 14 or 15, which I assume shouldn't be a problem since it would be too late to claim this bounty for Cycle 13 anyway.

One thing I get the impression was missing in recent efforts like this was a stronger marketing/outreach effort to complement market making, so I'd like to see more details on such things going forward (not singling out you/VND—just a general observation).

Weekly reports that summarize trading activity and marketing efforts would be great.
