why isn't there a web app for Bisq?

I'm curious to know if having this be a web app and not a mobile app will be easier for a lot of users. what are the technological hurdles with it?

It's a peer to peer network, so just as there is no web app for torrent, it's not possible without big tradeoffs to do a web app. You need to run your software to not depend on third parties.
