This issue is a 2-part issue:

  1. does bonescript have to always be developed on the beaglebone itself (this is clunky and difficult to support)?

  2. does bonescript have a simulator mode similar to octalbonescript?

There is a simulator mode, but it doesn't have any useful back-end right now. My plan is to eventually integrate it into the bone101 UI interfaces, but I plan to get those working with real hardware first.
