Issue with running the docker container

I am trying to run the docker container using the following command

$ sudo docker run -it --user root chirayukong/py-causal-notebook:latest

The jupyter notebook link gets generated and it asks for a password.There is also an option to setup a new password with the token on the same page, but somehow it doesn't seem to work for me
