yum install snapd

  • conflicting requests
  • nothing provides selinux-policy >= 37.22-1.amzn2023.0.2 needed by snapd-selinux-2.63-1.amzn2023.1.noarch
  • nothing provides selinux-policy-base >= 37.22-1.amzn2023.0.2 needed by snapd-selinux-2.63-1.amzn2023.1.noarch
    (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages)

Turns out that the snapd in this repo does work as long as its a EC2 Amazon 2023 and this issue only occurs with the Amazon 2023 cloud image that is usable under VMWare..
