Reason for disagreement: I feel that

Fixing the original bug: Punctuation for e.g is not standardized throughout the UG

Only fixes the bug in the UG and it does not address the bug which exists in the DG even though the punctuation is error is the same

So as this bug does not get fixed if we fix the original bug, I don't think it qualifies as a duplicate
