projects using pytorch are usually nvidia only because who cares about other gpu's. Who cares about open standards.
pytorch is mostly to blame here, pytorch devs don't know opencl is exist and they don't see a future for it (that's obviously a wrong statement and downvoted to oblivion on the issue page)
