Hey @delef you are more than welcome to help pushing fancy forward, you can do that in many ways, most important one is you having fun with it, creating languages is lots of fun, I did have a lot of fun with fancy on its early days and am sure @bakkdoor did as well way longer. Just sometimes people have to spend time in other things besides just software, so if you find fancy cool, start using it, that's one of the things I love of opensource, if you really, really care about it, you'll find a way to make it work, no matter if it takes a bit of time to learn things (you'll learn a lot and it all be awesome in the end). So my best advice would be to try run fancy on latest rubinius, that would by itself be an awesome contribution. Then if you really like the language beyond the nerdiness of how compilers work, try using it on some project of yours, that's the way projects mature, by having people using them, spread the word and the love for it.
Why stop development? I like this language, I would like to use it.
