I was happy to hear in another thread (I was still suggesting logos!) that the project "accomplished it's goals". Sorry for not keeping up, but has anyone written up on all that transpired?
I think keeping a 1,792 star project open, even if all issues are resolved, is a good idea. It's an asset if issues happen again, and may prevent internal threats from hurting the community by showing forks are not just possible, but at the ready when needed.
Anyway, maybe the README could include the whole story too. I'm sorry I wasn't in a position to help or contribute more than a few logo ideas!

At the end of the day - I don't think Ayo ever generated enough traction - mostly because the Node.js project did a good enough job of trying to make changes to the things that were complained about.
