Problem

import AWS from "aws-sdk";

const credentials = new AWS.SharedIniFileCredentials({ profile: "myprofile" });

Solution

import { fromIni } from "@aws-sdk/credential-providers";

const credentials = await fromIni({ profile: "myprofile" })();
