Voice Focus breaks audio in Safari #3025

What happened and what did you expect to happen?

When enabling Voice Focus in Safari, all audio inputs and outputs are completely broken.

Have you reviewed our existing documentation?

Reproduction steps

  1. Download and setup the sample app from https://github.com/aws-samples/amazon-chime-sdk/tree/main/apps/meeting
  2. Run the project and join a meeting
  3. Enable Voice Focus from the audio input control
  4. Observe that audio inputs and outputs cease to function.
