Error in backtick parsing with text after closing backticks

are two ``.``s and so it will parse as ``(Ideal.Quotient I).mk``; but ``Ideal.Quotient`` by itself

has an issue where the text

does not render correctly. Apparently, the closing double-backticks do not actually close the code-typeface because of the 's' that comes right after the backticks? I'm not sure what's the best way to fix this.
