using this library with wkwebview in a swift project

I know this is probably not the appropriate place for this, but I don't know where else to ask.

I have some javascript code that I wrote in a JS file. I want to load your JS file as well and use the functions from my script. Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried to copy and paste the contents of optimal-select.js to the top of my script, but it doesn't seem to call the function. I wish I could give you more info, but apple in their infinite wisdom has made it near impossible to gather errors from javascript inside an application.
