These might be two separate issues, but they could be related. A refactor might tackle both at once.

Dialogue needs additional click to get focus

Open class editor view
Add property
Dialog opens
Click any input
Nothing happens
Click again
We're good

Not sure what this was, but it can be confusing

Dialog overlay renders on top of errors

Like so:

Not sure what the fix is here. Tried some Z-Index stuff before.
