After installing both atom-ide-ui and ide-java, putting what seems to be the correct path, I've tried both "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-14.0.1" and "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_251" , and enabling the program, the startup massage in the bottom right corner that should say "Java (Eclipse JDK) Ready" but instead says for me "Java (Eclipse JDK) Starting 100% Starting …". I was not able to find a log of what was going on, so I don't know what specifically was causing it to become stuck. I have the java language support and have every package and base Atom up to date. I'm on windows 10. If there is a log file that I'm not seeing, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction so that I can relay more information or just fix it myself if possible.

Also, it would be cool if the default key bindings were put in the README. It would take some work to figure out how to use the package myself even if it was working for me.

Having the same issue. Says "Java (Eclipse JDT) Starting 100% Starting Java Language Server".

Same issue. It also prevents me from saving Java files, which is a bit of a pain. Can anyone recommend a better Java extension for atom?

For the "Java (Eclipse JDT) Starting 100% Starting Java Language Server". : #108 it might be a false alarm

If it becomes stuck at another step you may want to try what I said here : #82

The save bug can be solved with these steps : #119

Hope this is helpful
